Wireless Wizard participates in recycling campaigns which benefit the environment as well as serving to assist the efforts of local charities and social service providers. By enlisting the support of local business and civil organizations, even schools, we partner in creating "drop" locations where people can donate their old phones to support worthy causes, rather than irresponsibly tossing them in the trash.

For Our Planet

Wireless Wizard undertook an effort years ago designed to put old cell phones to good use. In the late nineties, it was common practice to donate one's old, out-of-service cell phone to social service agencies offering protection to battered and abused women. It provided the ability to place an immediate 911 call for help.

We joined in that effort and initiated a campaign of cellular recycling drives in our surrounding communities. Groups such as the Center for Women and Families of Fairfield County have directly benefited from our fund raisers.

In recent years, these programs have evolved into a broader range of fund raising initiatives designed to assist an ever growing number of worth organizations and schools. Wireless Wizard, in partnership with community leaders and businesses establish drop locations.
